![]() | Re: Ultra-Pure Oils Rowuk, While you admit that your results are anything but double blind scientific method approach I would not lessen the results of your experince. I mean observation is a form of scientific method and just becasue it is not double blind does not lessen it. One of my jobs at General Motors was forensic tear down looking for the why and hows of machine failure from engines to manufactureing machines. The observations I make with my eye's and other sense's are actualy just as valuble as all the diagonostic and measureing equipment I use. Just becasue your sample size is only realvant to that one instrument or to your instruments does nto amtter much. Often a mechanic might find a common failure that has not been discovered by the OEM becasue he see's vechiles outside of warranty that have been used in the real world and often with less then ideal maintence. So your real world experince is really good information to have that when combined with the technical studies gives a more complete picture. In fact sometimes you can pass every lab test and still fail under real world conditions because their are so many more variables inthe real world then int he lab! While I do not always get along with you and their is friction between us even I recognize that you are very experinced and knoldeable in the field of trumpets. Follow me? As long as the person is creadable in their field then their observations should like wise be creadable for the most part. |

![]() | Re: Ultra-Pure Oils Hi lovevixen and thanks for your questions! Although I can't give detailed technical specs, the proof is in the playing. Ultra-Pure Professional Valve Oil has a fast, silky-smooth feel that players love. It is very long lasting - oiling about once a week is typical of our customers, odorless, non-toxic, biodegradeable and it just plain works. Check our website for quotes from so many wonderful endorsers, such as Wynton Marsalis, Chris Botti, Bobby Shew, Alison Balsom, Arturo Sandoval, Kiku Collins, etc. Ultra-Pure comes with each new trumpet from Monette, Harrelson, Sonare, Willson Brass, and others. Many trumpetmaster and trumpetherald forum members are our long-time customers. Although Ultra-Pure is new to you, we have been in business now for almost 20 years and we look forward to many more years of serving the brass community with excellent products. -Ken
