Toronto Symphony Pictures / Enigma Variations Recording

Buy this recording. I just got it off Itunes. For $9.99 it is a steal and if you want to "brass forward" you can get the tracks you want for $.99

Sounds great Andrew! I really like that Great Gate

Mike

I appreciate the fact that iTunes has designated this recording "CLEAN" I also noticed that the title of track 28 has been censored. Three cheers to Steve Jobs for keeping smut out of classical music!

-Jimi

PS. I did download my favorite movement, Catacombs, and the playing is really beautiful--bravo!!!

Re: Toronto Symphony Pictures / Enigma Variations Recording

That is correct. It's a New York Yamaha with a valve alignment by Ron Parch here in Toronto.

Those who think Yamaha's lack color / character to the sound need to check out that recording.
