I was doing my own research on the Take the A train trumpet solos...and found this:

CT always brought out the goosebumps on me no matter what he played. He epitomizes the cool, laid back, twinkle-in-the-eyes approach to life.

CT is TOP SHELF and among the drinking class is a cut above USQUAEBACH and Johnny Walker BLUE.

CT and Dizzy introduced my BODY & SOUL to JAZZ and he is about a handful of living trumpet legends from my era (1960's) who have enriched my life.

May he live to be as long as he want and never want as long as he live !
