| Re: Dave and Jon at West Point They sure did...shame that the recording quality is so low  It is a surprise to see Faddis play a tune that doesn't contain any double something Beautiful and simple. What confused me is that you wrote something about "Beautiful tuning"....How a tuning can be beautiful? Tuning is just a tuning...One tunes an instrument and it is in tune (the case here) or not...Playing in tune (intonating) is another story...Probably I just overcomplicate and overanalyse things...Am I? I saw once Jon live...the last thing I thought was tuning...As a matter of fact I don't remember seen him tuning (I guess we get back to that infamous Bud's quote about tuning...)
