I think this video just proves the point that lead players shouldn't just know how to play loud and high. Jon Faddis was incredibly lyrical in this video.

Nope.
Fitz is a good friend, he joined the Baltimore Symphony in 1971, the season after I left.

Here is a picture of them when they perform with the West Point Concert Band, Jazz Knights & the Hellcats @ the West Point Trumpet Conference back in March! They performed God Bless America. A truly special moment for all in attendance!
