While "The Wise One" is making his way back to the Big Apple from Newport and with age progression,I recognize John Lewis (piano) and Pittsburgh own Ray Brown on Bass at the 00:16 second spot.
At the 00:23 second spot,I see Sonny Stitt on horn and at the 1 minute 22 second spot,I see Milt Jackson on vibes.
Three of the above listed players went on to form the MJQ, a Quartet that always appeared in public in formal attire !

Those were the days when JACKETS were required for admission.

The trumpet section includes Johnny Lynch on lead trumpet. Johnny was one of my first heroes,he was brave enough to hire a 17 year old kid from South Philly. He is the lead player on Dizzy's "Things to Come," Dave Burns is also in the trumpet section on the film.

    Thanks Wilmer.
Although page 80 and 81 did not list most of the players,am I seeing (things to come)
doubles or is that Edward Sonny Stitt in the front row.
Can't believe I missed James Moody in the lineup.
