Hey Wilmer,

Have you ever played the broadway show Fiddler on the Roof?

I'm playing 1st on the show right now in the twin cities and was wondering if you have any general trumpet tips to help me out. It's a pretty broad question but anything would be nice...thanks!

Yes, I have done this show. It's a straight ahead show. Even in the dance sequences, I went for a strong, straightforward lead approach. Don't add any personal touches to a well written book. It is a fun book, and it can be a challenge if you have to do it twice in a day.
We recorded some of the show on the "Jerome Robbins Broadway" cast album.

What mouthpiece size did you use for the concert? I'm trying to get by on a 1/4C but towards the end of long loud sequences it gets tough. So what did or would you go with now?
