The Future of Jazz....

The future of Jazz is in good hands - Gary Burton on Saturday,Oct 3,2009

Mr.Burton kicked off the commencement of the 23rd Manchester Craftsman Guild Jazz season and his rhythm section is proof positive that his remarks are true and valid.

His rhythm section a/k/a "Generations" included: Julian Lage, guitar;Vadim Neselovskyi, piano; Luques Curtis, bass; and James Williams, drums.

The band was outstanding. Ah,but the one,the one on the 'git-tar' is too marvelous for words !

My best wishes to our younger generation as they pursue a career in music, sweet, sweet music.
