GODFATHER

Hi Wilmer

The year is 1972....have you any idea who is playing the haunting trumpet solos on the original Godfather recordings?
Specifically the "Godfather Waltz" which starts with the solo trumpet playing the theme.

Thanks,

-cw-

Sidney Lazar? Burnette Dillon also played on some later Godfather movies, but I'm not sure if it was solo parts or down in the section.

Ok, so who was it?
That is my favorite movie of all time!
Much of it brings back memories of my family in Bensonhurst & Little Italy, NY, where I spent a lot o my youth. Ahhhhhh, the characters, the food, the song........ there was never a safer place to live, BTW...
