| Happy Birthday Wynton Marsalis. Wishing Wynton a happy and enjoyable 45th birthday ! Can't believe it's was 22 years ago when I first saw the man at the 1984 Grammy Awards on national television. His performance that evening brought me joy and happiness and reflection on words written by Jack Kerouac in his book "On the Road" ......... "I hope it us true that a man can die and yet not only live in others but give them life, and not only life but that great consciousness of life." On this your birthday,I plea with you to ignore your detractors as most of them believe that Lawrence Welk was a great band-leader. Live live to the fullest and walk talk my young friend, walk talk !
