Whataguy! is an unknown quantity at this point
Wilmer,

That was a nice interview. You really let us have it when you said a lot of us have the idea that we've got to be "the biggest and the baddest and play the loudest and highest, and that ain't the way it is among the trumpet players." That's good. I took that to heart, man. Now, to me, it's all about sharing, telling a story, and doing it the best I can.

I was mainly speaking about THe oTHer place. TM is not high note obsessed! Sometimes doing an interview on the run is not the best idea.

Hi Wilmer,

Very nice article. Wish I could go to the conference, but wouldn't be able to take the day off. Be Well!

BADBOY-DON will become famous soon enough
Wilmer...
Thanks for the tip...I am heading off to my local book store to glean that copy.
Congrats...my dear NYC brotha-in-brass! I only hope they aren't SOLD OUT as usual.
These are not just magazines...they are almost a jazz nuts bread of life.

I have been a long time Stamm fan---GADS! WHAT GIFTS HE BRINGS TO OUR WORLD! From his wonderful recordings...his inspiring workshops-clinics and performances and has sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many friends all over the world, especially here in the NW.
Check out his amazing website...and especially his "cadenza" column.
