![]() ![]() | Lady Day Phil Schaap played the "Lady in Satin" album today, it's Billie's birthday. Mel Davis' trumpet solos on the album are fantastic. Mel is from 18th and Reed street in South Philadelphia. I had to come to NYC to meet a guy who use to live a block away from me in Philly Wilmer Last edited by wiseone2 : 04-07-2008 at 10:36 PM. |
