Blue Note Records has just re-issued Lee's Volume 2:Sextet recorded of Dec 1956 where Lee's presentation of Benny Golson's "Whisper Not" is out of this world.

This recording reveals a very talented and possessed teen (age 18),with great confidence !
Personnel include: Horace Silver,piano;Hank Mobley,tenor;Paul Chambers,bass;Kenny Rodgers,alto;Charles Persip,drums.

Talent is what one possesses;genius is what possesses one.

Haha thanks. It won't be until Christmas though. I am out in Alberta for my post music-degree college.
One day I will play Massey Hall. It is a great theatre to be in if you aren't stuck in the back seats.
