![]() | Re: music prices Really ? The pay per gig was less than the cost of the instrument and it would take about 10 gigs as 'a leader' of the band to recoup your purchase cost. Have you observed how those elite writers describe the "spit" valve as a "water" valve ? The minimum wage per hour during my birth year (1945) was 40 cents per hour. I'm sure our beloved "WISE ONE" would frown at that 40 cents since in 1938 it was 25 cents per hour. Thanks for that trip down Memory Lane ! KJ
