![]() ![]() | Mutes I received a new one yesterday. I am the proud owner of a Sotto Voce straight mute. It will be my new quiet mute. I had been using the black Bach plastic mute, it will get a rest. The Sotto Voce fits my horns, even my favorite little Bach 304 Eb/D trumpet. It is in-tune, blows easy and sounds teriffic. Wilmer |

Whether I bring it up in "every conversation" is something I will leave to your wildest fantasies. I would be surprised if it has been mentioned as much as you think. If by "every conversation" you mean every post I have made on TM, TH, B-F and others - go and read them ALL - see how many times it comes up. If not many, next time how about making a constructive post, rather than a chance for a cheap shot? | |

| Sotto Voce Mute Have had a chance to use it a few times over the last week or so. Plays well in tune and is resonably open. Must be careful not to push into the bell too far or back pressure builds up. Only objection is the green color but that is entirely personal. My mother (bless her soul) bought me a GREEN Easter suit when I was in the 8th grade and I think I was traumatized. I have no green clothing whatsoever in my closet and if I could change the world, paper money would be a different color as well. I guess I will have to get over having a green mute.
