NYTC/Taylor Broadway Bb

I played one note, and I was in love. The horn has it all. It is beautiful to look at and wonderful to play. Run, don't walk to the NYTC showroom. Whoever gets this horn is in for the experience of a lifetime.......It's GREAT.

Felix ....can I get one ........please

Wilmer

Re: NYTC/Taylor Broadway Bb

Broadway, the street, goes into Harlem.....passes by Lincoln Center......runs through the Great White Way...... hangs a left and continues downtown.
Broadway, the horn, is equally versitile. Mahler, Bernstein, Sondheim and Philip Glass are at home on this horn. Freddy would have loved this bad boy
This is a special one.

Re: NYTC/Taylor Broadway Bb

I took the Broadway out for a night on the town to Billy Elliot tonight. It worked great in the section, good intonation and blended well with other horns. Pretty much all you could ask for in a good trumpet.

Re: NYTC/Taylor Broadway Bb

Wilmer Wise usually doesn't go ga-ga over the looks of a horn so it must be very stunning looking. Any pictures available yet, Felix? I looked on the NYTC site yesterday, but it wasn't there or I just didn't look in the right place.
Wilmer, when you get yours would you be kind enough to give us your thoughts on it?

Re: NYTC/Taylor Broadway Bb

Hi Rich.
No pictures yet.Yes,the horn looks absolutely stunning. The one I have is in Gold lacquer with brushed body and polished bell.It is possibly one of the best looking horns in my showroom right now,and I have about 50 extremely nice looking ones.:)
I'll try to take some pictures and post them here.I don't think they will be on the website, for I am not sure I want to go for "Internet/Website" sales with this model.I may put a few pictures up as promo material, though.

EdMann is on a distinguished road
Re: NYTC/Taylor Broadway Bb

I tried it on Tuesday at the showroom. Lovely looking and sounding (my chops were kinda shot, but you could still 'tell.') The lightweight was fantastic as well.
