Question re :Casals Brandnburg 2

There's a recording of Casals conducting the Bradenburg and the trumpet player actually adds some high notes, including at the end, where he takes up the high note.
But I didn't find out who it was. Would you know?

Wasn't there a sax recording he conducted?

Re: Question re :Casals Brandnburg 2

Bob Nagel recorded it with Casals and the Marlboro Festival Orchestra in '65 (Sony Classical).

Don Pablo also recorded the work at the Prades Festival. The trumpet player could not get his instrument up to pitch is the story I heard. Marcel Mule was close by, so the part was played on Soprano Sax.

I played a few notes on the Nagel Marlboro recording. Bob played a Mahillion Piccolo with the crazy mouthpiece that came with the horn. NO SPLICES in the first movement. He nailed it.
