| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Shostakovich! Incredible. I have never seen video of Shostakovich playing. That is some serious tonguing for the trumpet players. I think Shostakovich's string quartet no 8 in C minor is one of the most haunting and beautiful pieces ever written. |

(a horn player friend of mine was actually sued because he played to loud on Shosty 10 and someone damaged their eardrums. Isn't that the point?) -Jimi
