'Fat Albert' is too marvelous for words. He confirmed that Edward "Sonny" Stitt was a force to reckon with .

| Re: Too good not to share! The Cos, funny then, funny now, timeless. The 1st comedy album I ever listened to was , "To Russell, My brother, whom I slept with." Me and my brother wore that vinyl out. Well I've got to go smear some jello, I think I hear the Chicken Heart comin'. |

The last time I saw Jo Jones and Buddy, they were together at the Bottom Line Cabaret,NYC. Jo was in failing health and he was Buddy's guest on the bandstand. If one considers Lionel Hampton a drummer,he was damn funny and displayed great dance steps. The beauty with BEBOP as I see it - the music makes one dance in their head or tap their feet with happiness. The late Pittsburgh,Pa native named Oscar Levant said it best when he said: "Happiness isn't something you experience;it's something you remember." KJ in the 'Burgh.
