![]() ![]() ![]() | Wilmer's got a brand new bag My new bag arrived this afternoon.......yea! It's the new Bach 14WBFLK. It's a three trumpet wheelie/backpack leather gigbag. I have it set up for 2 trumpets and a flugel, but it can be configured for three full sized horns. I am still playing around with the bag. Tomorrow comes the test, rush hour on the Q train with live New Yorkers. Now that can be scary. Wilmer |

| Re: Wilmer's got a brand new bag Wow! That does sound scary. Being a case junkie I would be curious to know how it holds up. |

He ain't no drag,he got a brand new bag................... On a serious note,it's not as scary as taking the D train from Prospect Park to Atlantic Avenue. Meeting the Long-Island crowd at Atlantic Ave would most definitely force you to return the leather bag in exchange for a Walbaum's grocery bag. If the bag is made from pure corinthian leather,I'm sure you would enjoy it as Ricardo Montalban once convinced me in 1975 that I must have leather with my spanking new Chrysler Cordoba ? By the way,I knew a trumpeter from Philadelphia whose song was used in a Chrysler commercial. Expoobident. Last edited by Joe DiMonte : 05-21-2007 at 09:24 PM. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Wilmer's got a brand new bag Here's the Bach press release about the case. Welcome to BachBrass.com The case has survived in NYC.......and it was nuts on the Q train. You know the song, "If it can make it here, it'll make it anywhere" I am still learning how to use this case. Donovan did wonders to get the case. Here's his e-mail donovan@springfield-music.com Wilmer |

| Re: Wilmer's got a brand new bag I have that case also. I love the fact that it can be configured so many different ways. I hate the fact that unlike the original Gard bag (Gard makes this for Bach) there is not a pouch that is large enough to hold a music folder. Bummer. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Wilmer's got a brand new bag I have the Super Triple Wheelie, the pouch holds a couple Arban sized books and a smaller one. I worked great with a Bb, C and Flugel. I am taking my Eb out tonight instead of the flugel. This should be interesting because the Eb is not much larger than my Yamaha picc. Wilmer |
