| yamaha trumpet day in nyc anyone planning on going to this - let me know and maybe we ccan hang - Cheers, Spitty On December 6th, 2005, Yamaha will be holding its second Day of Trumpets at the Yamaha Artist Services Facility in New York City. The success of the last Trumpet Day has prompted Yamaha to offer this exciting free event again to the public. This time, Day of Trumpets will feature clinics by Sean Jones, Nicholas Payton and Robert Sullivan, Associate Principal Trumpet of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra. The day will culminate with a recital by Robert Sullivan. In addition to the special day of performances and master classes planned, Yamaha will be introducing the latest addition to the Artist Model Series of trumpets, the YTR-9335NYS Bb trumpet. This will be the first place where you will be able to purchase what is sure to be a legendary instrument! Schedule: Clinics will be held on the 3rd floor Sean Jones, Mark Avenue jazz recording artist......1 pm Robert Sullivan, Cleveland Symphony Orchestra trumpet......2:30 pm Nicholas Payton, Warner Brothers recording artist........4 pm Robert Sullivan Recital.........7pm Open instrument testing will take place from 11:00-1:00 on the 3rd floor. A full range of trumpets can be purchased at special one-day-only pricing. Local dealers will be available to assist you with your purchase. |
