I have been searching for ages a recording by the amazing french trumpeter David Guerrier of the big modern french concertos like Jolivet and Tomasi with no result at all. The best I could find was the little bit of Tomasi Concerto at David Guerrier, trumpet in a ram file. I was happy enough to catch once a live performance of the Jolivet Concertino on some french channel, but all the surfing on amazon, google etc came up to virtually nothing. Does anyone know if such a recording was released and if yes, where can I find it (label, website etc)?

You can find a live recording of the Tomasi from the 2003 Munich competition at ARD Musikwettbewerb: | BR Klassik | BR

Guerrier was the first winner since Maurice Andre in 1963. The cd also includes performances by Giuliano Sommerhalder (2nd price), Gabor Richter (3rd price), and Guillaume Couloumy (3rd price).

I'm unaware of any commercial release of trumpet concerti from David and would be interested to learn of one here. His Tomasi is linked on the website below.

TMers, for those of you who are unfamiliar with David Guerrier, he is the solo hornist of Kurt Masur's French National Orchestra and has won multiple prizes worldwide as a solo trumpeter as well. He's quite a story and an interesting topic for here.
