Do you design trumpets?

About a month ago, I went to the Greeley jazz festival and tried out a trumpet. It's brand was Caroll. It was wondering if there was any connection to you. That was a great trumpet, it's tone was incredible. Thanks.

Re: Do you design trumpets?

T_M,

The trumpet that you tried was a "Carol", not Carroll. It's made in China. I was made in Illinois. The Dublin phonebook is filled with my name. Ask any Irishman.

I have a Carol pocket trumpet, by the way. It's very good.

Best,
EC

Re: Do you design trumpets?

I tried a "Caroll" pocket trumpet, too and it was very good. The best pocket trumpet I've played. Thanks.

Re: Do you design trumpets?

Ed doesn't need to design trumpets because he can play anything and make it sound great!

Actually, Carol trumpets are made in Taiwan by the Hoxon Gakki company.
Cheers.
