Flutter Tonguing+Lip Trill (shake)

Flutter tonguing may be difficult in high register...but what happens if you must add to that a shake? Who wrote that? Well, Andre Jolivet (Concertino for Trumpet, Piano and Strings, rehearsal number 34) did...It is true that I have never heard anyone playing it that way (I have a thiny doubt about Maurice Andre's recording - wether is just shake or shake+flutter tongue it is difficult to say).

I was trying for ages to do exactly as written, but never managed to...

Does anyone have a tip how to do that?

Re: Flutter Tonguing+Lip Trill (shake)

I created a thread (in ecdownloading) on flutter tonguing in the higher register and got some very good advice. Although I can't flutter tongue in the high register yet, I got some good guidelines on what to practice so that I can. Flutter tongue + a shake in the high register... man, that's has to be tough. If you can flutter tongue high, that's a pretty good start and a pretty respectable accomplishment.
