Hardenberger and Wallace

Dear TMers,

I'm delighted to announce the fourth edition of the Chosen Vale International Trumpet Seminar, June 15 – 27, 2009, and also the addition of two of the world’s most celebrated trumpeters and teachers, Håkan Hardenberger and John Wallace, to a distinguished faculty that includes Thomas Stevens, Stephen Burns, Gabriele Cassone, Mark Gould, and myself.

Our website is currently being updated.

Information, including programming and lists of participants from previous years, can be found at the CENTER for ADVANCED MUSICAL STUDIES

Best,
EC

Trum Peter will become famous soon enough
Re: Hardenberger and Wallace

Ed! That is amazing news! I had a feeling when I heard that there were new teachers that Hakan's name might pop up! The addition of Wallace is just icing on the cake. I'm really going to have to consider going to Chosen Vale now!
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Bill,

Well, no. The class has subscribed fully each year. It might close earlier than normal this year, however. Time will tell.

Best,
EC

Mr. Carroll,

I am sincerely flattered that you would even remember my name. Trumpet players are a dime a dozen. It would be easy for a student like myself to get lost among the hundreds of players that show up like I do for any audition for a gig. Adding Hardenberger and Wallace to a list of already impressive faculty at chosen vale will certainly attract more people. I did forget that there is a closed enrollment though i.e. there is a set number of spots available. Maybe I should have said "record time for enrollment to fill up?" I guess that means if I'd like to attend, I should get my act together with the resources before I'm left in the dust!!!

Bill
