Walnut,

Yes. Believe it or not I have both of the Sonatas in my library. They were published by General Music until that company went out of business.

How did you find out about them?

Best,
EC

EC, I am a student at Curtis and former student of Chris Martin when we lived in Atlanta. Years ago he mentioned something about M C-Tedesco and I recently purchased a Ray Mase CD that had one of his vocalise on it. I would pay any price to get a copy of those sonatas - I'm preparing a recital with the keyboard player in the Philly Orchestra and would love to add that to the program.

If you could help, that would be great.

The Philadelphia Free Library is one of the great music sources in the world. They have works in the Edwin A. Fleisher collection that can be found no other place in the world. Check there.
It is a great place to hang.

I'm not entirely sure, bit the parts that I have may (?) be the actual manuscripts.
Dick Kapp's father used to own General Music and was very disorganized. Whatever.

S, I'm happy to photocopy these for you but am in Montreal at the moment and then heading out to LA. I'm flying to Venice directly from there (masterclass for Cassone in Novarra) and then coming home at the end of the month. I can do it then if you remind me via e-mail (edward.carroll@dartmouth.edu)

Best to Dave if/when you see him

EC, I will certainly send you an e-mail at the end of the month as a friendly reminder. I'll see Mr. Bilger in a few days and will pass the word along.

There wasn't a Starbucks when I was there. That's for sure.
