Does anyone have any information about Jean Pennequin, in particular his birth and death dates?

Most sources quote:

Jean G. Pennequin (18??-1914) All that I could find is that he wrote a more or less well known method for Violin as well as that one piece for cornet.

Maybe there is more info on Reinhold Friedrichs CD "Belle Epoque". Anybody own it?

There is another one that composed some stuff in 1577
