  | Piccolo trumpet mutes Hi Ed, This is my rare dip into equipment-themed threads and I thought with your mute fetish it might fit well in your forum. Do you know of any company other than Tom Crown who manufactures a piccolo trumpet harmon mute? Also, any advice on getting a usable plunger mute for a piccolo trumpet? I have two small (regular trumpet-sized) plungers and it looks like if I cut one of them down to fit the piccolo bell it would seize to be a plunger and become a flat rubber circle with an awkward handle.
