Great clip. The first part is Fables of Faubus, by Charles Mingus. It looks like Union Square on the Q,N track.

Nice post, Trent! NYC has the best subway music I've ever heard. When I was at the New York String Seminar, the trumpet section would go relax after the marathon rehearsals by playing Christmas carols on the 1-9. Good times.

The cello and flute combo kind of remind me of Cello Joe, a guy in the SF bay area, "the world's only beatboxing cellist" lol. Really cool guy too.

Most people are not seeing live music except for street players like this. I consider them heroes in a way. I hope to be able to play well enough to play with groups like this someday.
