Aloha

I've posted a reply here and there, but I thought I should make my formal introduction...finally. I'm a trumpet player way out in the middle of the pond on Maui. I graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa in 2005 with my BA in Music. I started my college career at Indiana University where I studied with Stephen Burns, and I studied with Mark Schubert of the Honolulu Symphony while I was at UH.

Now that I'm here on Maui, I work as an escrow officer during the day, and in the afternoons and weekends, I teach trumpet to some of the intermediate and high school kids. I have 7 students right now, and I'd like to have 10 total. I hope that I can pass along the gift of good trumpet playing to them.

See you around the forums!

Mahalo for stopping by!

Welcome and enjoy the site!

I have many fond memories of Maui when my wife and I were there in March 2003. La isla bonita without doubt! The road to Hana was most interesting!

Re: Aloha

Mitch,

Welcome aboard Matey!! This is a fabulous site with a lot of interesting folks. The discussions go from the highly intellectual to the absurd but there's always something to keep you coming back and thinking. I look forward to your comments and questions.
