Comeback player from Wisconsin Greetings all! I have been away too long but I am starting to get back into trumpet playing now that my kids are in band at school. I recently had a chance to play a flugelhorn for the first time and loved it so a purchase may be in my future.

Re: Comeback player from Wisconsin Welcome ! One can never have too many horns or money. Although the abundance of one leads to a depletion of the other.

Re: Comeback player from Wisconsin Yep - the money can be a problem. We stopped in a music store to look at trumpets and we ended up walking out with a saxophone for my son instead. There goes the discretionary cash for a while. I guess this is all a way to help me develop patience.
