| New Friend | Gday from Adelaide Aussie!! Hi all glad to be part of this forum look forward to a few posts, and talk to a some of you Muso's. I played cornet in UK from 11 years old till 21years, then I moved to Aussie, and never played for 23 years, anyhow I have now been playing again for the last 15years, so I am now 59 years old. I play first trumpet in our local Concert band, which is a change from Brass Bands in UK. However I have a Trumpet but don't play it much as I have Arthritis in my Fingers, and the Valves are too far away from the Mouthpiece to make it comfortable to do faster passages, but I get by ok for an amateur. Anyhow look forward to catching up with some of ya's. Cheers Mike. |
