Greetings from Cornet Guy in Saint Paul

Hello all

My name is Franklin Hotzel. I am originally from Chicago. I have Bachlor and Master's degrees from DePaul Universtiy. Presently I am among the ranks of the unemployed, during the school year I am a substitute teacher, band, orchestra, pe, library, art... I have even done Spanish and Science. I am the second trumpet in the Saint Paul Civic Symphony, I also am a member of the Exultate Chamber Orchestra, this past season, I played princpal trumpet with that group. In March I perforrmed the Fasch concerto with the Saint Paul Civic Symphony.

I play on

Bb Trumpet Bach 37 or Schilke B1
C Trumpet Bach 25H/239
Eb/D Bach long model 239 bell
Piccolo Yamaha 9830
Cornet Getzen Eterna 800 Large Bore Copper Bell

Mouthpieces

Trumpets Laskey 75MD (sometimes on Bb 75B) for shows 75*
Cornet Laskey 75DB
Piccolo Laskey 75P

The 75 series is about a 1.25 or Schilke 17D2d

no reason for not doing this sooner other then ennui

Welcome CornetGuy!

In TM you're going to meet a lot of Trumpet Guys.

I'm sure you're going to enjoy your stay as I have even after some time of not viewing this list of new comers.

I found your post very interesting.

All the best to you and your family,

Liad
