Where are you from?
I'm from Shelbyville, IL, a really small town in central Illinois, but I go to school & play (more play than study) down at Southern Illinois University Carbondale

How long have you been playing trumpet?
This is my ninth year of playing, having played since 5th grade and am currently a freshman.

What equipment do you play on?
I played for seven years on my student horn (Conn USA 22b) and took a massive leap and have played the last two years on my Conn Vintage One.

Anything else we should know about you?
I started @ SIUC this last fall and got involved in the Marching Salukis and learned more in four months than I had in the eight years before. I actually have gotten almost too involved with music in college seeing as I'm not even a music major/minor (I'm a chemistry major in 3 bands (marching, pep, and symphonic), and I want to be in several more).

Welcome, Marching Saluki 2007! Loved pep band because we got good seats and it was warm, but got most of my girlfriends in marching band. I prefer to remain silent about what happened in symphonic band, though.....
