Greetings from Seattle

Yet-another guy returning to the trumpet after a long break. In my case, about 15 years since I foolishly sold my trumpet in a fit of blah.

Got a new horn, and finding that 15 years later I'm paying way more attention to how I sound versus just trying to play faster and higher.

Re: Greetings from Seattle

Welcome to TM. Returning player here as well. Lot's of great input and folks here. I find it real cool communicating with the trumpet brothers from outside the U.S. We're all in the same place (music/trumpet) even if we're not! Enjoy!!

Well the fact that you are paying more attention is a good sign. Most of us comeback players have trouble paying attention at all. Also, if you have a fit of blah only every 15 years, you are doing fine. I tend to have one just about every day.

Welcome to TM and keep on blowin'.
