Greetings from Wisconsin

Good morning everyone, this is Brent from Wisconsin. I've been playing trumpet for about 40 years now (wow, how time flies!) and I am in the process of evaluating new horns. I want to purchase a new horn in the next few months and have allocated a budget of about $5,000. I currently play on a Yamaha, but really want a new horn for orchestral, quintet, concert band and recording. The more I look at trumpets, the more confused I get. Unfortunately, there are few places up here that I can visit to try out the more professional horns, so I am seeking opinions from as many people as possible so that I can narrow the field down. I looked into the Monette Prana LT, but the 12-14 month waiting list is very discouraging.

Hello Brent!

WElcome to the TrumpetMaster site.

Enjoy your stay.

BTW....

You're about to be flooded with opinions about what horn to buy.

With a $5000 budget, I even have an idea or two.
