![]() | Hello! Hi there... Picking up the trumpet again after years (OK, a couple decades) of not playing. Played in the university jazz ensemble back then, that's chiefly what I'm interested in doing now, jazz/swing/big band kind of stuff. I'm a surgeon now, which is good and bad as far as the trumpet is concerned. Good in that I can afford nice stuff, but I'm not going to have time to practice 3 hours a day now. So initially I'll be poking around the forums for advice on getting the chops back into shape. Anyhow, hello, and this looks like an excellent resource.
