Very welcome to TM, MMB!

Yes, there are a lot of decent human beings in here.
But of course, this still IS internet, so you´ll still have
to evaluate everything yourself, even the decency . . .

Re: hello

Snagged A King Master Cornet 1066, the large bore model. 1925-30 vintage. Not a silver bell, but hey at $76... Really excited about this one in particular.
Also grabbed a couple of Bueshers, one is a model 9 the other a 10-22. I think one is from 1924, the other from 1927.
Gonna play around on all 3 and see which one(s) to keep. I have a feeling the King and the 10-22 are going to get overhauled.

Humains? I didn't know that there was any in here...I always thought this is a place for Trumpet Masters and Lords... Or maybe Garret is looking for fresh meat to chew on

You are being directed here by a higher power. You obviously have the dreaded 'N+1 Virus' in a bad way (do a search here if this is not clear). We are set up here to do an intervention to help you out. You create a post here and say "Hello, my name is MMB. I am addicted to shiny brass objects. I need your help." Then, step 2 is to box up all of your trumpets and send them to us. We will keep them safely for you until you are completely cured and rid of the virus. We will decide when that is.

Pretty simple, Huh?

Re: hello

Good lookin out, thanks.
Guess I'll have to box up the 1930 Conn 80A I just had to have, as well...
I thought quitting smoking was rough, this vintage horn stuff is hard-core black tar heroin.
Just ONE more, I swear... lol
