Hello everyone!
Greetings!

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Matt, and I reside in Chicopee, Massachusetts. I'm 23, and I have been playing trumpet for about 11 years. I'm a Jazz performance major at a local community college. I study with Pete Grimaldi, a fantastic teacher and trumpet player, who plays with the Amherst Jazz Orchestra and the Jeff Holmes Big Band.

Looking forward to being a contributing member of this great site!!

Welcome Matt,

This is a very good website where musicians can air their personal opinions and views on a variety of musical topics. You can gain some good information from this site, but not everyone has the best advice. You will have to disect the information offered and take what works best for you. There are some very top notch individuals on this site (i.e. Ingrid Jensen, Manny Laureano, and Rick Peron, to name a few). Also, you may have some insight in certain areas that could help others as well. Enjoy.
