Jazzcmor will become famous soon enough
Hello Fellow Trumpeters!

I've been away from my horn so long I've got to develop a new set of chops. Actually not. But, I have learned something. Out of sight Out of mind is true. The best thing that I have done lately is to get a horn stand for my trumpet, cornet and flugel. Now I'm playing more than I used too. Highschool was a long time ago and that consisted of about 6hrs. a day on a (get this) Pan American cornet (and I still have it). Anyway, as my older brother would say to my dad's driving "WATCHT OUT THWAY" cause I' got a lot of questions!

Well, many of us have that condition. It's what is required to become a member of the "comeback players club" here. So, now you are a member.

Some of us are lucky enough to still have our original axe. I got mine in 1955. I gave it to my brother in 1963 and then it went missing for about 40 years. I recently found it again so I am happy about that. Besides, Pan American instruments were really pretty good. It should still play fine. My Ambassador does.

OK - We're watching out! So, go ahead and throw some questions (in the appropriate forum sections, of course.)

So, welcome to TM.
