Hello from Minnesota!

Hi guys. I'm not a trumpet player, but I've been married to one (Corsair) for over twenty-seven years and I thought I might venture in here to give the spouses point of view.
I don't have a lick of musical talent in me (I can croak out a song here and there) and I think sheet music looks like angry spiders crawled through black ink and then over lines.
I do have to say that I admire musicians greatly. You guys are really incredible, really... what a blessing it must be to have such a gift.

That is such a creative description....... (and in reality, only certain pieces have angry spiders among them)

Um....interesting location Ms. P.

Welcome to trumpet land.

Welcome, MsParrish!

May I be the first to offer you a pan of welcome e-brownies?

*hands you a pan of e-brownies*

Baked from scratch by me! lol. Glad to have you here.

I like your description of music!

Sit back, relax, and don't be afraid to ask questions! We're just trumpet players, most of us don't bite.

If that is an accurate picture - lucky Corsair

Nice to get an alternative perspective of the trumpeter

Thanks for the nice reception.

TrumpetMike, the picture is Christina Ricci from "Sleepy Hollow", but I'd say Corsair still thinks he's pretty lucky.

40cal, hi to you, too!

Silverstar, thanks for the brownies. I can't remember the last time I had some and I did love my mom's. And I know at least one trumpet player who does bite (innocent look) and his lips are always soft!

Solar Bell, thanks for the kind words on my artwork. It was a talent I received from my mom.

Alex, I changed my location to something less likely to be misinterpreted. LOL (that smiley says it all about where your mind sits.)

Thanks again!

Talent loves company... NICE artwork!

It's great to know that you have the love and support of your spouse. Congrats to both of you on that!

Welcome!

Bruce
