| Hello from New Jersey: jrpjazz Hello to all, I live in the state of New Jersey. I've played the trumpet for a few years now. I play on a Flip Oakes Wild Thing and a Conn Connstelation. I'm a born again christian who loves to play the trumpet, mainly play at church and christian venues (spanish speaking), mostly contemporary christian music and worship songs that are latin, and jazz infused. I'm learning to use Protools LE, I'm planing on doing a few home recording projects. This is fun to me, I just wish I had a bit more time to do it. I've read a few of the posts here, mainly Ingrid Jensen's forum. I really like her playing. As a result of one of her posts I'm trying out a bach7ew mouthpiece, and like it very, very much. I'm sure to be learning a few new things here, and hopefully I'll be able to contribute a thing or two. Some of my favorite trumpet players are, Clifford, Miles, Wynton, Al Hirt, (yes, love his sound), Arturo and Botti to name only a few. Happy to be a new member of Trumpet Master. All the best and God bless, James P. |
