Hello and thanks

Hello to all. I have been lurking on this board for a while now, and only recently registered. I have really learned a lot in my short time here. This morning, though, I was struck by what an incredible place TM is. I read two posts in succession, the first a response from NickD on upper register playing, and the second a response by Manny to an embouchure question. Where else can you go and get this kind of input from such extraordinary and diverse musicians?

Thanks to all who post here.

Dave

That exposure to and association with players of so many levels is what keeps us all coming back here. I've made a lot of very good freinds here. What a great place. Glad you found us!

You hit the nail on the head, Dave. I, too, am a newcomer and have loved reading the posts. Basically, it's like taking free lessons. Pretty fun.

I think that this is to be expected amongst musicians and not just trumpet players......diverse, perverse, reverse, converse, traverse and inverse. You got it all here.

Welcome and have a good time.
