hello trumpet master community

Hello, Im from Georgia and here to learn more about trumpet. I currently still a still a student in highschool. I play on a Jupiter trumet ,it gets the job done for now. I don't plan on becoming professional but do really like it and may become semi-pro like playing at wedding and chruch and things like that. Im always open to advice and constantly looking ways to improve my tone. I practice everyday for ateast and hour and enjoy it very much. Im looking to make all-state band this year and have previously made district honor band in my state.

Re: hello trumpet master community

Welcome to TM. It sounds like you have a workable plan for your musical future. We all hope that it develops for you and that you find ways to continue to play regularly. For those of us who became side-tracked years ago and are now trying to make a comeback, it is certainly more difficult than staying with it.
By the way, us old guys love it when youngsters join - it gives us more of an audience when we brag about our accomplishments (and our grandkids). We all adhere to the oldtimers motto: "The older I am, the better I was."
