Goldie will become famous soon enough
Hi

As you may have guessed by my screen name I'm a girl. Playing the trumpet is my passion. I play other instruments too, but they'll never be my favorite. I hope to one day become a julliard student, that's precisely why I rehearse privatley and with my buds up to 6hrs a day total. I recently recieved a Getzen for my christmas gift, but it's not vintage. I also own a vintage Conn, that I gug out from a pile of cases to find for a bargain of 70 bucks.

Nice to be here,
Goldie

Re: Hi

Welcome aboard! Keep up that kinda practice and you'll be in Julliard in no time! As to the Getzen - some of the best valves going - mine are still like new after 40 years!

Best of luck!

Re: Hi

G'day Goldie,

I too, love my Getzens - luverly valves - nice timbre - all round nice horn. You are a 'lucky duck' I had to buy both of mine, one of which I've passed to my neice to 'return' when she's finished. I guess it's gone for good unless I find how to outlive her.

Re: Hi

Welcome Goldie,
You need the passion to make the sacrifice. Sounds like you have two nice horns.
