Hi all from Preston England

Hi, I came across your site while I was looking for information on a trumpet that I recently bought. I will put some pictures on the vintage forum.

I only came to the trumpet recently as we needed a lead player in the school band - I have been playing Euphonium for the last three years following a lay off of around 30 years. I bought a Flugel Horn which I'm very fond of and then got carried away on ebay and now have
1. a new Chinese made trumpet which is exceptional value for money
2. a yamaha 1620 silver trumpet
3. a Boosey and Hawkes Emperor
4. a Grafton - probably made by Amati
5. a Rudy Muck - inherited off my father
6. a Chinese hsinghai cornet
7. a Higham premier Epic - made in Manchester I think
8. a strange trumpet that I would like to know more about.

They are all different and all have something to recomend them, but most will have to go unfortunately. I just don't know at the moment which is my favourite.

all the best

Nick

Welcome to TM! Can you post pictures of your horns? (Especially no. 8!) Vulganos love strange horns.
