![]() | Hi Everybody Hello fellow trumpeters! My name is Connor, username CaviesFan80, trumpet player and enthusiast. I currently play on a Yamaha Xeno 8335 RGS (Silver plated with reversed lead pipe) with a Vincent Bach 3C mouthpiece. I am a Junior in high school, but apart from being in the school marching, concert, and jazz bands, I am also in a private wind ensemble and a private jazz combo (still working on a name for it lol). I absolutely love Drum Corps and am totally obsessed with it. In fact, this November I will be auditioning for the Carolina Crown drum and bugle corps. Right after Drum Corps comes jazz, which I absolutely love playing. Its great to meet all of you, and I look forward to having many great discussions in the future!

![]() ![]() | Re: Hi Everybody Conner - A hearty welcome to a young, energetic player from some of us oldtimers. We are always happy to see new players among us. It keeps us feeling young. It sounds like you are a very good player and you have a great trumpet to play. The Xenos are very popular here. Let us know how things are going from time to time and feel free to join any of the discussions.
