![]() ![]() | Re: hi everyone Hello Leolila - Welcome to TM. We are glad that you found us. As a newbie, tell us about your goals and the type of music that you want to play. Also, what steps are you taking to develop trumpet-playing skills. We always recommend going with an instructor because it is so easy to start wrong. Otherwise, there are many threads here that deal with what and how to practice to insure the best chance for success in this great endeavor. Good luck.

![]() | Re: hi everyone thanks for your messages. indeed iīve found a trumpet teacher. surprisingly heīs the only instructor here in Puerto Madryn (Patagonia, Argentina). iīm very happy with my progresses, iīm starting to study the arban and the sandoval methods. i enjoy different music styles, mainly reggae and ska, and play the snare drum and the bass in a percussion band. bye, leo (lila is my trumpetīs name) |

![]() ![]() | Re: hi everyone Wow! Patagonia. Talk about the other end of the earth. I have never been there but I have seen pictures and I have friends who have been there and they say it is an incredibly beautiful place. Then, add trumpet to that and you have a great combination. It's great that you found a teacher there. When you have improved maybe you can become the second one and encourage a bunch of new players. What model trumpet is Lila - sounds nice from the name, anyway.
