| Hi from the U of I Hey all, I'm Jeff. I'm a freshman trumpet performance major at the University of Illinois. I take lessons from two of the greatest men (not just trumpeters) I know, Ron Romm and Mike Ewald. I truly owe a lot to these mentors. I'm also pursuing an undergrad degree in conducting. The maestro here has accepted me into his studio on a probationary basis (there's only a graduate program here). I'm really excited about all of this! I'm also excited to now be a part of this community, with so many other passionate musicians. Thanks for having me! Gotta hit the practice room...on the docket: Pines of Rome, Peeters Sonata, and some good old fashioned Clarke studies! Jeff |

| Re: Hi from the U of I Hey JR, I went to Garber High School back in good ol' Essexville, Michigan. That's by Bay City, or, if you put your left hand up palm facing away from you, it's the webbing between your thumb and forefinger! (Ah...Michiganders.) Jeff |
