Howdy Y'all~

Hi everyone!
My name is Kwang Kim and I live and work in Austin, TX as an engineering manager for a global semiconductor company. I grew up in Michigan, just north of Detroit, and played the trumpet form the 5th grade until my sophomore year at Michigan State(campus band for non-majors). I haven’t really played regularly since then, which was about 15 years ago, but I’m trying really hard to get back to playing semi-seriously.

I’ve been pretty detached from the world of trumpets for a long time, but I hope this site will help me get back into it.

Trumpets I own:
Blessing Lt ML-1 with Pilczuk Accusonic leadpipe (43 58)
Bach Strad C180L with Model 229 Bell
Last and by all means, the least, a beat-up and taped-together Bundy .

Nice to meet you all, and don’t pay too much attention to the title, because I don’t really talk like that.

Kwang.

Welcome to TM, Kwang! If you want, you could start a thread exploring which tape works best holding trumpets together.

LOL, I've only tried two. Masking tape didn't work too well, but the 3M clear scotch tape has worked for 10+ years now.
